The walnut stock of this Jaeger rifle is of American Black walnut, which doesn`t prove that the piece was stocked or made in America. This suggests that it might have been made in the U.S. Overall, the piece is a strongly Germanic-style rifle with deep carvings around the tang and through the wrist and on the buttstock.
