Ultra scarce early World War Two German Luger Holster. Holster is marked dtu 41 and has the appropriate inspector stamps. Holster is in good condition with the stitching solid and intact. Inside strap and tool holder are present and in good condition. Some minor surface cracking on the front and the external strap is weak, but still serviceable. The unique thing about this Luger holster is the single bullet hole that goes through the cover, the body of the holster, and out the back. It appears the bullet entered from the front at a slight angle and either the pistol was out of the holster at the time or the round went through the trigger guard opening. Either way, it is unique and sobering. This is one of those pieces you wish could talk. The holster is one that I just got from a local WWII veteran's estate. As German miltaria collectors know, this late issued Luger holster is a scarce piece to find on the loose and is especially intriguing with the battle damage. Guaranteed original World War II. Payment within seven days of auction's close by cashier or personal check or money order. Personal checks delay shipping until the check clears. Sorry, but I no longer accept Paypal. Thanks for looking.
