Absolutely no shipping to Germany or parts of Europe w this item is prohibited!!! German paratrooper helmet, Luftwaffe smooth blue / gray paint, shows lots of chips, light rust and wear to the outer shell which is heavily stamped CKL71, and serial number 3892.The inside liner is lightly worn and stamped with the early Karl Heisler D. R., Berlin C.2 G.M.A . stamp in Italics. The LBAB38 stamp is nearly worn off. T is some staining to the size 59 liner from normal wear, otherwise the leather is in perfect condition. The gray goatskin m38 leather chinstraps have the typical correct German WWII roller buckle and zinc grommets. T is slight wear to the straps, the leather is still soft and pliable. This is a very nice example of a 1940 issue paratrroper helmet. Please look at the photos. This beautiful helmet is made from all newly manufactured parts. The size 71 steel shell, is the highest quality reproduction available and is the same weight and thickness as an original, and is purchased from At the Front. The size 59 leather liner, is the most accurate liner available coming from Bill Clinton, who makes the best liners available. The chinstraps are hand made from high quality gray goatskin, with original German wartime buckles, and zinc grommets, spot on to original specifications from Ludwig Baer's book. T are not a better made set of straps, not a better made helmet shell, nor a better made liner, than the above item which has been taken weeks in the making. These are top of the line replicas which can worn or displayed proudly.
