Up for auction I have a RARE & UNIQUE German Pewter Beer Stein. This is a lovely stein and would be a very unique addition to the pewter lovers collection. This beer stein is in gently used condition. T are some minor surface markings that came from normal use, but nothing that takes away from the beauty or function of this gorgeous stein. T is no dents, dings, corrosion or discoloration on this very beautiful pewter beer stein. **This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: This is a gorgeous and very unique beer stein. It features a nicely polished silvery finish. The unique feature of this beer stein is that it is designed to mimic a beer barrel. T is incredible detail throughout this stein right down to the heavy straps used to hold the slotted barrel together. Ornate wood grain detail gives this pewter beer stein a very realistic look. The top of this stein is flat and is also designed to look like the cover of an actual beer barrel. The ornamental lid is detailed with what looks like a fleur de lis style hinge. The handle is large and sturdy. It is smooth with no detail. The flip on the lid is large which features a unique ribbed shaped knob. This stein will be a treasure for it's new owner.
