Pigeon racing clock in wooden case with lock. On the clock it says Made in Germany. From looking at internet sites on pigeon racing clocks, this one is most similar to a Benzing model. On the top of the case Forest City Loft is stamped. I am not sure w this clock was used. T is a handle that attached to a bar that sticks up from the top. I believe it is used to move the inner workings. I am not sure if this clock works properly as I do not know enough about how it is supposed to work. Within the face of the clock are two smaller circles with pointers, probably to determine minutes and seconds. Someone attached a label saying clock wound on the inner workings. On the very top of the inside is a bronze colored 10 section circular piece. On the ones that are open, t are numbers 1 through 10. A piece controlled by the outside lever hooks into the indentation between the sections. In those open sections t are small brass objects or even smaller aluminum like circular pieces that have marking with letters and numbers. I don't know the significance of them. I believe that both of these objects may be attached to the leg of the pigeon, perhaps for messages or identification. T is paper and various gears below the bronze piece. The box shows wear but the insides look pretty nice. I am not sure of the age of this clock. PayPal can be used.
