VINTAGE CHOCOLATE POT, CREAM & SUGAR SET EBERTHAL, W. GERMANY. BAVARIA I found this set at an estate sale in the mid-1970s, and it has been on display in my china cabinet (and unused) ever since. It is in Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks, etc. Perhaps a little bit dusty... but I'll fix that. I don't know much about this West German manufacturer, but I couldn't resist the lovely pattern of a colorful bird and butterfly in the middle of these beautiful pink thistles. I do know it is a retired and unusual pattern (Replacements doesn't have a single piece available). The porcelain is shiny pure white and the pattern is wonderfully handpainted and very striking. The scalloped edging is trimmed in gold with no wear except for one tiny spot on the cover which looks like it came from the factory that way. This is an impressive set to display and enjoy, and surely will become a favorite family heirloom. The Chocolate/Tea/Coffee Pot stands 11" tall and 9" spout to handle. Creamer is 5" tall x 5" wide. Sugar is 5" tall x 6 1/4" wide. Each bear the "Bavaria Eberthal" gold seal and gold number. Any questions, please email. Insurance is strongly recommended.
