14 (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with short black painted curly hair in boyish fashion, exposed ears, painted facial features with slightly smiling expression, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865, the doll is wearing its original folklore costume of Amager which includes undergarments including woolen petticoats, silk embroidered padded blouse, white handmade apron, silk ribbon streamers, and an elaborate coiffe.
