This is an exquisite hand painted porcelain figure of a lady and her two pug dogs. It is stunning in person and is of very high quality with fine detail in the molding and hand painting. A little pug is in one arm and another is on the ground peeking up at her under her skirt. They have the cropped ears as they were done in the victorian period. She is a large and heavy piece at 10 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide and weighs a little over 4 lbs. The condition is excellent, I see a few very minor flaws. T is a tiny chip to one red bow on her sleeve and I see a stress line on the underside of her skirt due to the firing process. She is marked with a purple underglaze marking of a crown and two C's. I am not quite sure of the manufacturer, but she is Meissen like quality in person. A grand display!
