This is a rare German porcelain white pug dog match holder and striker dating to the late 1800's. He has a wonderful face with cropped ears and a blue bow which is holding his basket on his back. He may have been produced by Conta & Boehme, not sure, he is marked with only a few light impressed numbers on the bottom. He measures 4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches deep by 2 1/4 inches wide. Excellent condition, one stress line under his one leg due to age, no damage at all. Beautiful dog, great display for your collection...almost didn't list because I loved him! Please take a look at my other strikers, piano babies, potty babies and other German porcelain figures, I am happy to combine shipping when possible, thank you and good luck!!
