The sword is a Prussian Model 1889. The blade is 32 1/4 inches long. The blade has a quill back tip. The blade has light pitting in places. Blade is maker marked Weyersburg Kirschbaum and Co. Solingen. On top of the blade near the guard t is a crown with a W under it and then t is a 91 under the W. I believe this is the year the sword was made 1891. On the guard t is a Prussian eagle and some type of unit marking near the blade. I can't make it our but it looks like 16.V.2. Also on the inside of the guard w you would put your thumb it reads F.G. IV 30. On top of the bakealite handle t is a old small chip out of the bakealite 7/16 inch by 3/16 but it is not noticeable. The sheath is in good condition. Also sword has leather strap with a red and white knot at the end of the strap. Overall sword is in very good condition. Payment may be made with PAYPAL, personal check, or money order
