I was looking for an authentic Soldier's ring for a long time before I found this one. It is the best i have ever seen so I snapped it up. Unfortunately, I have some emergency medical expenses that I need to deal with so off it goes to the next lucky owner. This ring is 100% authentic, money back guarantee. I can make out "835F" on the inside and some sort of makers hallmark. This silver ring was found inside a German bunker at Gumrak, one of the two main German airbases in the Stalingrad area and also Headquarters of the 6th Army at the end of 1942. Since ancient times this pattern - skull and and crossed bones - was very popular among the German warriors (and particularly in the armored or Panzer units during the World War II) as a symbol of bravery and disdain towards eventual death in combat. Also, it is NOT associated with any human remains, but was found in a German bunker with no remains anyw nearby. The ring is in very good shape for a 64+ years old item: all the signs of oxidation have been thoroughly cleaned off, t is absolutely no damage, and this artifact definitely has that impressive "been t" look and feel!
