Original Prewar Composition Figure and Spray Paint Tin Flag by Lineol.Nothing wrong with the flag.It is the first and best quality version with gold highlights to a white and black field. The soldier has a scuff to the face with no cracks and hardly any paint wear.Standing flag bearers are always harder to find than the marching version.Overall in very good plus condition. Cat # 5/29. 7.5 cm scale. I have collected German Composition for about 25 years and these are my thoughts about buying AND selling these items on eBay.Generally sellers who use the words "Wow" and "Look" along with "ultra rare" don't have much knowledge about what they are selling.If the photos are poor or they sell "as is",I don't bid."As is" is used at live auctions w you can see and touch an item in person.Just tell me why you don't care for what you bought from me and you can return it.Stating that a figure is all original is meaningless unless it is examined under a black light.I check all my figures under a black light and tell you about touch-ups and repairs if any.Also,in most cases,I have the same figure in my collection for further comparison.The term "good condition for it's age" has no meaning and is an excuse of sorts for selling a figure with excess paint loss/damage.These figures hold up amazing well and only if played with a lot or stored under conditions of extreme heat,cold/dampness do they exhibit bad paint and/or damage.Some stress cracks,however,can be expected around the ankles and neck area.I clearly describe what I sell and don't make up excuses.........Thanks for you interest....... A 7.5 cm(3 inches) marching figure would be 1/24 th scale.A six foot individual would be 3 inches.Since the base is included in the 7.5 cm,this would make a figure about 5'8' and the scale 1/26 th. German Composition is considered to be 1/26 th scale. Payment is due within 10 business days of the end of the listing.If you find that I have misrepresented anything,you may return the item(s) within 7 days for a refund not to include postage. Buyer pays $4.95(Priority Mail) + Insurance based on the selling price of the item(s).All items are insured.If insurance is declined,Delivery Confirmation is required.(Paypal does not reimburse sellers for lost packages unless Insurance or Delivery Confirmation is used).I combine multiple purchases to save on mailing costs. When paying with Paypal,the item(s) MUST either have Delivery Confirmation or Insurance.Paypal will not cover me(even though I have the Postal Receipt)unless the item has one or either of the forementioned coverage.I will add Insurance to all items with a value of $100 and above. I am an experienced collector/seller of German Composition.I buy most of my figures in Germany at Toy Shows and Auctions.I try to find the best quality pieces available.I don't use hype or make unwarranted claims of rarity.All figures are descibed accurately and the photos show both sides of the figures.Additional photos are available for political figures.I black light all figures and and any touch-ups/repairs are noted.I grade items as Excellent,Very Good and Average with half grades above and below.If you need additional information,please contact me before you bid.I will also gladly answer any question that you might have about Composition or other listings.
