You are bidding here on six (6) German pre- war, and WW2 era stripper clips/chargers. (Box in picture isn't included, but I usually have other auctions w/ the boxes they came in.) These are the real deal, not the Yugo, Turk, or Ecuadorian clips. The German clips from the war are very well made, and are extremely hard to find. Those who re-enact can use these 6 to fill a pouch, since each pouch used six of these clips. After the war, most clips were taken off the ammo to avoid bi/metal rusting when ammo was repacked. These clips were taken out of sealed German ammo crates, untouched since the war. I will post a picture of what the crates looked like. I finally posted more photos of the original German crates these came in. If they were marked i.L. or Fur Gewehr, they would be packed on the charger clips. Many if not most were marked Fur M.G. and were not on chargers. The brass clips for the most part disappeared after 1938 due to the high cost of making them. The steel ones are the most common. Since these came out of crates dated from 1934 to 1940 most are the quality brass ones with the steel spring. These clips will work w/ any 8mm Mauser ammo you have. Clips will have the P codes, common w/ German makers till 1941 when the three letter code took over. Some of the codes are, P, P25, P25-37, P208G, P315, P28, and there are even read more
