Hello from Germany:

For sale is a very rare, original German Post Card Album WW1 period, with a picture of the Emperior Hindenburg wearing his Pickelhaube with "Reichsadler" realm aegle on the cover. Titled "Album für Kriegs-Postkarten" "album for war postcards". It has 14 pages. The album is made out of paper, like card box, I dont know the correct english term.

The album is hold together by a black/white/red Ribbon. The Colour of the german flag during WW1.

Most of the pages are intakt, only on a coupple pages the small slit is ripped but affectionately taped with black linen tape. The edges are somewhat marked out. That however not really disturbs, considers one the original age. Overall and with consideration of the age of the album, it is in good shape.

The Album comes with (!) 50 WW1 postcards a fieldpost letter of Cummersdorf Schiessplatz and a Gruss aus Cummersdorfer Schiessplatz pc included. And as a special gift for you an original framed CDV photo titled "Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" ( Memory of my service ). The timber frame is original old, measured ca. 4 x 5 1/2", very hard to find in this good condition.
