Per ebay rules t is no offensive markings nor does this aution promote hate or violence. Thanks This is a M42 German ww2 helmet. It is a size 64 shell. This is a very rusted and used shell. When I got it t was no paint left on it, I re sprayed it a dark field grey(green) color. I then applied the decals, and aged them. The spanish blue insigina is very nice and really makes the helmet. I made it appear that the rust is coming thru in spots to appear old. In the close up of the pics it looks like a textured finish but it is the rust under the paint. If you are in to really worn and rusty helmets then this one is for you. It really has that been t and used look. You could strip the paint off to the rust and tell your friends it was ground dug and you found it. Overall this turned out very nice and it looks alot better then when I first got it. T is no reserve so bid early to avoid all the last minute last second "auto" bidders. Original Spanish blue volunteer helmets are very very scare and last one I saw asking price was 2500.00. The auction is for the shell the split pins and washers. Again its a size 64 shell. Being this is a restored helmet it is being sold as is all sales final!
