we have a very rare and early wartime 98k bayonet coded S/155K with walnut grips. My research indicates E.u.F. Horster manufacture. This bayonet is very very nice and appears unused. The collector I purchased this from laughed at me when I asked him who had reblued it. Only minor slide in and out marks on blade which was never sharpened. The scabbard and bayonet match with numbers 2623. The package is also complete with a very nice frog, and is marked but indiscernable. The leather of the frog is very nice, and is still usable after all this time. It only shows very slight distress. Very nice piece that looks like it was carried, but not abused.
