No Offensive Markings on this item.WWII German Canteen aluminum body does not appear to be marked under the cloth cover. Canteen body looks real good with no real dents or holes. Cloth cover does not appear to be marked on underside. All 4 cover snaps remain with the cloth cover. Canteen cap is not marked. Rubber insert on the inside of the cap. Only the black painted aluminum cup is maker marked and dated "AW 40" for 1940. Some minor moth tracking on the cover. Overall canteen is in Very Good to about Excellent Original Condition. Leather strap belt hanger clip looks like it may be nickeled, entire leather strap is in great shape. Cup carries a different soldiers name than on the canteen strap, canteen may have been reissued at some point. Cup is named to soldier "Uttz Guttmann" on top. Strap is named to soldier "ZAHN".This would make a great addition to your WWI to WWII German field gear collection.Shipping in the United States Only.Please review the pictures which are part of the items description.
