GERMAN WWII M25 CAVALRY SADDLE in a rich dark mahogany brown leather. The seat measures 18 inches from the saddle bag loop to the back middle of the seat cantel. All six billet straps have been replaced by a professional saddle repairman. The back right panel of the saddle seat is marked Munchen 1926 and 3 (wide). T is a pre-World War II Weimar Republic Eagle embossed on the back left panel of the saddle seat. The original carry strap is still intact on the front of the saddle. This pre-war manufactured saddle has leather of a much higher quality than some of my war time examples. As the war progressed the quality of leather in saddles went drastically down. This saddle has been stored in a dust free, air conditioned room. This saddle was purchased from Austria from a veteran German Feldwebel of the 10.Schwadron/2.Btn./8.SS Cavalry Division "Florian Geyer", and has been in my collection for over 15 years. T are no offensive marks or symbols on this saddle that violate ebay listing polices. The gray military blanket and the saddle stand are NOT INCLUDED with this auction. Payment is by Money Order or Certified Bank Draft only. No PayPal payments. Will be shipped to the lower 48 states only by U.P.S. Ground with a flat rate of $35.00. U.P.S. Insurance in the amount of $100 is included. Extra insurance over the amount of $100 is paid for by the buyer at their request. This sale is FINAL with no refund.
