This rather odd grouping of stamps is a result of combining two of my previous listings. The first image is a composite showing the entire lot. The others are closeups of individual items. The first item is a single stamp - a mint hinged copy of Germany's 1/2 groschen orange imperial eagle with large shield of 1872 (Scott #16, Michel #18). The two scans show the front and back of the stamp. The stamp has two nibbled perfs on the UL margin. The reverse shows previous hinging on original gum, two pencilled catalogue annotations, and the strong embossing of the eagle. The second part of the lot consists of three stamps issued in Germany in 1949. The two scans show the fronts and backs of the stamps. Centering and cancels as per the images; #666 has no apparent cancel, but it is not mint - probably a "skip." The first two stamps are the "Reconstruction" pair (#665, 666), and the third (#669) is the UPU anniversary issue. #665 has a round corner UR; it has also had hinges peeled off x2 with residual remnants. #666 also has a hinge remnant, a possible thin at the red spot, and a 2mm sealed tear in the middle of the right margin. #669 has a HR.These are attractive stamps, but the don't require fancy packaging. I'll transfer them to 102 cards, and they will travel quickly (and cheaply) in a first-class letter.Among my other items listed this read more
