GREAT Vintage souvenir print tablecloth from Germany. In the center is a map. All the famous historic places of Germany are represented by illustrations. This is surrounded by a border of brown and yellow ribbons with couples in native costumes, shields of states of the Federal Republic:
Bavaria, Hesse, Rhineland, Lower Saxony, Baden-Wurttemburg, Schleswig- Holstein, Westphalia, Saarland
major cities: Berlin, Koln (Cologne), Munchen (Munich), Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden, Hamburg, Bremen, Karlsruhe, Nurnberg, Heidelberg, Zweibrucken, Hanover.
and historic districts: Pommerania, East Prussia
Oak leaves, acorns and maple leaves complete the design.

Measures about 54 x 62 inches.

New, unused condition. No stains, tears, holes or worn spots.

Made in Germany, probably 1950s, although the nation is shown undivided and neither Bonn or Berlin is shown as a capital. The modern flag is used, except that brown is substituted for black.
