Click Double your traffic. Sveviae Nova Tabula. Striking and beautifully detailed very rare copper engraved chart of Swabia, ( or Suabia, or Svebia ), a historic and linguistic region in Germany. Swabia consists of much of the present-day state of Baden-Württemberg ( specifically, historical Württemberg and the Hohenzollerische Lande, but not the western region of Baden ), as well as the Bavarian administrative region of Swabia. In the Middle Ages, Baden, Vorarlberg, the modern principality of Liechtenstein, modern German-speaking Switzerland, and Alsace ( now in France ) were also considered to be a part of Swabia . Map is filled with a lot of topographical and geographical details. This is a very rare edition of this regional chart of Germany and Switzerland published by Melchior Tavernier and based on the same chart by Willhelm Blaeu. Map filled with large decorative title cartouche, decorative mileage cartouche and decorative explication cartouche. Map without text to the background.
