Mega Rare LP of Gerry Mulligan Meets Johnny Hodges (Verve MGV-8367 - mono) Original black labels with David Stone Martin Trumpeter logo and deep groove on both sides. The great Gerry Mulligan encounters Johnny Hodges in their only LP together. Also featuring Claude Williamson, Mel Lewis and Buddy Clark in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either. The cover is in solid VG+ condition with a bit of general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at this price? The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs as calculated below to a U.S. address.
