MintCondition – A Displayed Collector’s Item. Guaranteed no chips, scratches,dents, or nicks or Your Money Back. This beautiful highly detailed beer stein will only grow in value over time! For sale and shipment in the United States only! No foreign bids please! This rare authentic Gerzit 2 liter beer stein with pewter lid displays a young couple in love in strikingly vivid color. This particular stein with the young pair locked in a loving embrace is usually given to a couple in celebration of their wedding or wedding anniversary. On top of the stein is a beautifully detailed pewter lid. This highly detailed beer stein stands 16 1/4" tall and has a 5 7/8" diameter base. The base is marked with the traditional Gerzit West Germany imprint. I bought this beer stein for my collection when I lived in Switzerland in 1987-1988. It should be noted that the country of West Germany was formally established on May 23, 19 49 and lasted until German reunification on October 3, 1990 and therefore the beer stein was produced between 1949 and 1988 when I bought it.
