Hello and thanks for your interest in my auction(s) - be sure to view my others, as well. I reserve the right to cancel any item 24 hours prior to auction end that has received 0 bids. This listing is for frame and portrait/print. These were disassembled and cleaned with the intention to insert acid free archival type paperbooard next to the photos. I am getting up in years and with no one to pass these on to who would appreciate them - I copied the photos to CD. A wonderful antique wooden gesso frame in near perfect condition.. As seen in the pics, t is an area approx. half inch of a minor chip that can be easily repaired and/or painted. Also, some old wall paint on small outside portions of the frame. It is complete with an equally nice large hand tinted studio portrait/photo of an old man in period dress. The man is a deceased relative to me and believe him to be a great (or greatgreat) grandfather dating this to late 1800s or the very early 1900s. Outside dimensions are 17 1/2" by 11 1/2". Inside dimensions (portrait mounting area) are 16" by 10". Dimensions are approximate.I am new to listing this type of items and I have several others of like kind that I am listing, also.
