Gettysburg Civil War Vet's 1900 Reunion Badge Cloth purple ribbon 1 5/8 inches wide x 3 in. Attached by a small wire at the bottom of the ribbon is what appears to be an earthenware pot with the attachment wire simulating the pot's handle. Impressed into the bottom of the pot are the words "From the Battlefield of Gettysburg." Printed in gold on the front of the ribbon: "Everett Encampment, Everett , Mass. Richmond , Va. , Sept. 15-23, 1900 ." The event is believed to have been a Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) reunion. Fixed to the back of the ribbon is a paper label stating: "C. C. Fuller, Regalia, Badges. Worcester , Mass. " The label is separated w it fits over the pot's handle. The ribbon is secured to clothing by a 2-inch stickpin whose top is sewn under a fold at the top of the ribbon's back. Condition is very good. Letters are slightly faded.
