Now 's a neat item indeed! A dropped.58 cal Confederate Gardner insert bullet that came from a famous bar none museum collection! The owner the late John Plank Geiselman spent his life amassing items from the old early collections such as Danner, Rosensteel, Zeigler, etc....He was also fortunate to acquire items directly from many of the Battlefield land owners. Plus he dug many of his own items long ago. Mr. Geiselman grew up in the Gettysburg area and lived t throughout his life. His love for the area never waned and he built up one of the most extensive Gettysburg collections known. Many of the items were one of a kind and some you only seen in books. This is by far the best and most impressive Gettysburg collection to be offered today. Mr. Geiselman was very meticulous and inventoried each piece on a master list. Most of the items were labeled individually as well. Often the information contained the location of recovery, and other notable history. The Provenance is simply the best you can get! I was fortunate enough to be able to procure a number of these items from the prestigious shop-The Horse Soldier, located in the town of Gettysburg. This well known respected shop had exclusive rights to this museum collection. They have been kind enough to provide two page detailed LETTERS OF AUTHENTICITY / PROVENANCE to accompany these read more
