HISTORY: Purchased the watch new in 2000 and wore it quite a bit - comes with boxes. If you do not know about these Gevril Tribeca watches please do read up on them - they are absolutely fantastic watches that were an homage to the world famous 1968 Rolex Daytona exotic dials (aka Paul Newman). 500 were made with a black dial, 500 with a white dial and 500 with a white dial with a steel bezel. Extremely hard to find - particularly in Europe - and a cult watch.
Exterior: The watch has never been polished - so what you see is what you get. I took many pictures, but this is a watch that was worn daily for three years, and then left in my box with occasional wear. There are many surface scratches and nothing deep, other than at 4 o'clock near the chronograph stop button. the edge needs a good polishing. Also the chronograph buttons are screw downs. The stop button does not tighten when you screw it down.
Mechanically: The watch works, the chronograph works, but here is the rub - sometimes it stops. If you move the hand, it starts working again.
