First off, I'm selling the entire run of Ghost Rider, Marvel Spotlight and many of Ghost Rider's other appearances, so check my auctions for more of this great supernatural super hero who is about to tear it up in the box office in the new Nicolas Cage movie! This auction is for a beautiful 1973 Marvel Ghost Rider issue # 1. It has been professionally graded by CGC and is rated a Very Fine 7.0 with White Pages. The comic features a Gary Friedrich story, Gil Kane cover, and Tom Sutton and Syd Shores art. It also features the first appearance of Daimon Hellstrom (Cameo). This is one super issue to the awesome run that details the journey of Johnny Blaze, the stunt motorcyclist who was also possessed by the supernatural Ghost Rider. Blaze, who, in order to save the life of his mentor, agreed to give his soul to Satan (later revealed to be Mephisto). Instead his soul was bonded with the entity called Zarathos. When emitting Zarathos' powers, Blaze's head became a flaming skull and he wielded a fiery motorcycle and trademark blasts of hellfire from his skeletal hands. This comics will be shipped in a box.
