Figure is NEW unopened condition. Box is in "Like New" condition but has some flaws after 16 years of storage. From a Smoke Free and Pet Free Environment Original cost was $140 New in 1997 and was exclusive to FAO Schwartz Toy Stores FREE SHIPPING Army Golden Knight Parachutist This is an exclusive 1997 FAO Schwarz limited edition twelve inch GI Joe action figure manufactured by Hasbro in conjunction with Kenner Toys . This 12” Green-eyed version of this figure remains sealed in the original packaging which does show signs of shelf wear encountered over the past 15 years of storage. Please reference the 12 photos for condition. The figure itself, along with the uniforms and accessories are in mint condition and where never removed from the box. It comes with two jumpsuits: one Black and one Gold uniform. A gold and black working parachute with Black Army jump helmet, goggles, boots, ankle smoke canister, and a wrist altimeter. The inside panel has the following discriptive passage written inside the front inside panel: In September of 1959, Brig. Gen Joseph W. Stilwell, Jr. the Chief of Staff of XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, N.C. formed the Strategic Army Corp (STRAC) Parachute Team, which was formally activated and renamed the U.S. Parachute Ream on June 1, 1961.
