This is a GIANT size fossil ammonite called Eopachydiscus marcianus from the Upper Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Washita Group, Duck Creek Formation of North Texas, U.S.A..

She is around one hundred and two million years old! She shared the world with the Dinosaurs and her species died out with them.

She measures 12-5/8" wide, 11" tall, 2-5/8" thick and weighs 15.2 LBS..

I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite.

She is a great example of the Pachydiscus ammonite Family! She has good sutures showing! She has no repair.

She has all of the paleontology, stratigraphy and locality information on the back.
