For your consideration is a very large early 1800's German carved wood angel. Beautifully and skillfully done with great detail. Gold robe gessoed head, feet , wings and hands. 31" tall wing span 18" base diameter 7". There are age nicks here and there , and nails show from the wings. Leaving it as is. Came from an estate with a wonderful collection of artifacts. Would make a great addition to any early 1800's religious carvings.
