Lowers are much rarer than uppers, in fact, Dr. Hubble once told me that for every 20 uppers, you might get one lower, and needless to say, of all the lowers, lower principals are the rarest and most sought after (and nicest looking). And, lowers are also generally smaller than uppers, it is almost impossible to get a lower principal in good condition at or over 5". Well, enter this beast of a Meg tooth. This lower principal is a bit over 5.5", by a very wide 3 7/8" wide. The root is absolutely monstrously large, solid and perfectly formed, and, it's close to 2" thick!
