Giant Scale DeHavilland DH.103 Hornet Plans and Templates You are bidding on a new set of plans for a Giant Scale DeHavilland DH.103 Hornet. It includes the Plans and templates/ patterns for cutting the parts for this beauty. This is a great flying plane and a very good scale design. Plans show retractable gear as well as flaps. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. This plan is in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment. Plans are shipped rolled in a mailing tube. The British De Havilland DH.103 Hornet was a piston engine fighter that further exploited the wooden construction techniques pioneered by De Havilland's classic Mosquito. Entering service at the end of the Second World War, the Hornet postwar equipped RAF Fighter Command day fighter units in the UK and later was used with success as a strike fighter in Malaya.
