Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975) CGC 8.5 VF+ Unrestored - KEY Origin NEW X-Men 1st Nightcrawler Storm & 2nd Wolverine White/Off-white pages! This is the issue everyone wants but can rarely find, especially in this condition. This rare issue features the very first appearance of The NEW X-Men! It also features the second-ever full appearance of Wolverine (after his introduction in Incredible Hulk #181)! This is the special issue that introduces Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus, Thunderbird, and Illyana Rasputin! (It is also the origin issue for Storm and Nightcrawler.) This issue was written by Len Wein with iconic cover art by Gil Kane and fantastic interior art by Dave Cockrum. This copy is in exceptional condition: CGC has graded it 8.5 (Very Fine PLUS) and it is unrestored. In Near Mint, this much-sought-after issue has fetched $3,750 on eBay; in Very Fine PLUS $2,000 has been bid. Please examine the cover scan and I think you will agree with me that it is unlikely you will ever see a prettier copy. (I have been the only owner of this comic, and to the best of my recollection it has never been opened other than by CGC when it was certified 8.5 and sealed in its mint-condition case (#0142956005) in January 2007.)
