This is a GIANT, fossil ammonite called Oxytropidoceras supani from the Middle Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Fredericksburg Group, Goodland Formation of Centeral Texas, U.S.A.. She is around one hundred a four million years old. She shared the world with the Dinosaurs and her species died out with them. She measures 13" wide, 9-3/4" tall, 1-1/2" thick and weighs 9.4 LBS.. I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite. She is a great example of the discus shaped Oxytropidoceras ammonite Family! She has great ribs and some of her keel! She also has some nice clams attached to her! She has no repair. I will combine sales to save on shipping up to 60 LBS.. Check out my 100% positive feed back to see just how great my ammonites are. Please remember that UPS will not deliver to a P.O.Box. Payment or arrangements must be made with in 7 days from end of auction.
