My house is filled to overflowing Treasure hunting I'm much enjoying Unfortunately, I am sad to say That if my darling husband has HIS way Out the door it will ALL be going... Up for your consideration, fresh from a local estate, is a lovely collection of 3 charming Gibson brand "Roseland" canister set with lids, and as a bonus, the matching cookie jar! All canisters and cookie jar are in very nice condition. Off white in color with pink roses and green leaves. The flour canister is approximately 9-1/2" H with the lid. Base is about 6-1/4"W diameter at its widest point. Opening is 4"W in diameter plus the rim. The sugar canister is approximately 8-1/2" H. Base is about 5-3/4"W in diameter and the opening is 3-3/4"W . The coffee or tea canister stands 7-1/4" H with the lid. Base is 4-3/4"W in diameter at its widest point. Opening is 3-1/8"W in diameter plus the rim. The matching cookie jar is large and measures approximately 10-1/2"H with the lid. Base is slightly over 7"W in diameter at its widest point and the top opening is 4-1/2" W in diameter plus the rim. A very clean set; sorry, don't have the original box. I will have some of the matching pieces listed for auction as well: the salt and pepper shakers w/ the utensil caddy, the sugar and creamer set and the teapot . All pieces are in excellent gently used condition, with no cracks or chips. The only "flaw" I found was on the flour canister (see photo 9), and it's a spot on the handle where the glaze "bubbled" in the manufacturing process and "popped", leaving a pinhead "hole" (approximately 3/16"L) by the handle. Not damage, but did want to point it out. A very clean set. It does need to find a new home, though ( got the new car, but now the garage HAS to STAY empty!!!!)
