This auction is for one Ion Chair, designed by Gideon Kramer for the Seattle's Worlds Fair, manufactored by American Chair and Desk. This icon of modern design come in the rare armchair form covered in bright blue hopsack. Overall excellent condition. Fabric is clean, foam is pliable, arms are very nice wood, chrome is not pitted. What else could a person ask for? I have owned this chair for a while and it is super comfortable and great looking. I kinda hate to get rid of it, but you can't keep everything. It's got to go. It goes great with Herman Miller, Knoll, and other iconic mid-century pieces. In the coming weeks I will be auctioning quite a few neat 50's and 60's pieces of furniture, glassware, and vintage men's clothes. check out my other auctions. I prefer paypal, payment due within 7 days. This chair is not packed, but my estimate will be $30.00-$50.00 for domestic shipping. Buyer must pay for insurance and tracking.
