You are bidding for a old dutch wall clock . The clock is at a fantastic second-hand estate. The clock work works, it only has to be adjusted at the wall. It has an half and hour striking mechanism at a very old gigantic bell on the top of the clockwork. The clock is typically hand wind up at the two chains. The clockwork and the striking mechanism is weight driven. It has a very long pendulum, the pendulum is behind the wood case and you can see it work behind a hole in front of the case. The number sheet is in a fantasic condition and also fantastic decorated. You can see the clockmaker of the clock. It is named "Joh. Duchesne, Amsterdam". The case is made of middle brown wood, over and over fantastic carved applications and lot of metal applications all over which make this item to a rare choice. Have a look at the figures on the top. They are made of metal. Really fantastic and rare. Above the dial you can see the very interesting moon dial and have a look at the top. T are three applications at the top, typically for this dutch clocks!! The measures of this fantastic item are approx a height of 35" (88cm) , a spread of 10" (24cm). Much luck at this auction with no reserve!! After payment is in i will send the item with DHL to the winner of the auction. I will send it with economy. The value for handling and shipping to the USA is 90 US$, because of the high weight of the clock. I will put the clock in a gigantic parcel with lots of bubblewrap around, so nothing can happen to this fantastic antique item.
