Sorry to all the bidders on the previous auction for the omission of the pix for the shiny spot on the blade of this knife. it is again with pix and clarification in a 3 day auction. Since the system locks 12 hours before auction end and no changes could be made I covered it with Ebay and they informed me as long as the notes were attached prior to auction end it was acceptable to relist the knife with the correct information showing the small flaw. Up for auction today is a new, never carried Gil Hibben Kenpo Karate knife. 12 3/4" overall. 6 7/8" 420 J2 stainless blade. Mahogany Staminawood handle with cloisonne Kenpo insignia shield, polished brass guard and pommel. Brass and micarta spacers. Genuine leather cordovan sheath. As you can note in the pix, the sheath has some cracking from storage but other than that, the knife is beautiful even with the shiny spot. I've heard but not confirmed, that the spot is done at the factory to identify the knife as a sold sample without the box. If any one knows different please send me a note.
