Like new Gill Net used only four or five times. Purchased new in March 2007. This net is the best quality Gill Net you will find. T is not a single tear or bad spot on the net. The net measures 100 feet long by 6 feet deep. The mesh is 3.25 inches stretched. This net is perfect for catching shad up to 3 pounds. Both the top float line and bottom lead weight line are made of 1/4 inch polyurethane so the line will not rot. The monofilament mesh is rated for 12 pound test break strength. I have removed hundreds of fish the few times I used it and have never broken a single line. It has black plastic floats that measure 5 inches long by 1.25 inches thick every 9.5 inches all the way down the length of the net. The bottom lead line has lead weights that measure 1.5 inches long every 9.5 inches all the way down the length of the net. I am throwing in the plastic tub that I store the net in. $10 value. Notice I drilled many holes in the tub so the net would drain and dry quickly. I sprayed the net in the tub with fresh water after every use and made sure it was bone dry before I stored the net in my barn. You can set this net in whatever depth you want. The net is balanced so it stays in a verticle position, ( Stands upright) no matter if its set in 6 feet or 60 feet of water. I used it primarily to catch gizzard shad in the James River to use as cut bait for the giant Blue Catfish we have but also set it last spring in the Mattaponi River and caught a nice mess of Atlantic Croakers. (Hardheads). I paid over $150 for this net last Spring 2007. I am moving to South America for my work and don't need this net anymore. Flat rate shipping is $15.00 anyw in the USA.
