Offering this nice, hard to find, set of 12 different gimlet style, bit stock, 19th century brace auger bit or drills. This particular type is the tapered lead screw type with the spoon type auger section behind the screw, or single fluted. All have the tapered bit stock end to fit into old style and most newer style braces, and some archimedian drills too. The sizes begin at .13" diameter, and go up to the largest size of .37" diameter drill size. Several are marked "BOKER GERMANY", the other not marked by the maker, but all are basically the same design. All bits are clean, not rusty, or damaged, sharp, and useable. The longest bit is 6.5" long overall. All come in a newer 12 pocket roll, (cloth case) made of heavy cotton duck material with a flap to cover the bits, and Velcro to hold it closed. The pocket case is in very good condition. The cloth case is 7" x 9". A very nice bit stock gimlet drill set!
