The Ginn Basic Readers featured Betty, Tom, Susan and Flip. This series of three, My Little Red Story Book, My Little Green Story Book and My Little Blue Story Book are in excellent condition. Published by Ginn and Company, David Russell et al directed the writing of the series starting in 1949. Ruth Steed produced the illustrations. This set was published in 1957. Each book has word list in back of book. The first re-primer is the Red Story Book, it looks unused. 47 pages. The second pre-primer has63 pages. It has the usual front cover wear, with an inch bend in the top right corner, and a turning up of the lower cover. It is used, but no smudges or pencil marks. The Blue book is the third pre primer, with 71 pages. It again has some wear along the bottom front cover and less on the top edge of the front cover. You will not be disappointed with this set. There is the usual school property stamp in the front and back. I purchased these books at a school auction 30 years ago, and they have been in my collection ever since. Looks very good inside and out.
