Gladiator - Sword of Maximus
Official Faxtory X The Sword of Maximus (FX20001) is the official reproduction of the Sword used in the movie Gladiator . Unlike most movie reproductions this sword is high carbon spring steel with a full tang! Crafted to exact specifications by Factory-X, it is identical to the sword Maximus used as the General commanding the Roman legions in the beginning of the movie (the one stuck in the tree). It is 38" long and comes with a exquisite highly detailed leather scabbard and shoulder strap. Officially licensed product from the movie "Gladiator". Just to clarify the sword was previously displayed and then stored for the last few years. It does have some light handling marks. Most are around the brass throat of the scabbard from inserting the sword. Sword has the trademarks for the movie Gladiator, Dreamworks, and Univerval Studios etched on the blade near the hand guard.
