Gladstone Publishing Walt Disney's Comics & Stories in Color by Carl Barks Complete Set of 51 Albums with Trading Cards -+- MINT -+- UNOPENED -+- You are bidding on a MINT UNOPENED set of Gladstone comic albums, these are large, magazine-size, heavy-stock, square-bound, full-color comic albums reprinting in chronological order all the Walt Disney Comics & Stories Donald Duck classic ten-pagers by Carl Barks. These stories originally appeared in the Walt Disney's Comics & Stories comic books published in the 1940s and 1950s by Western Publishing (Dell). Each album comes with a trading card depicting a hero or villain created by Carl Barks; the reverse side of each card provides information about the featured hero or villain. These cards are not available anyw else. The only way to get these trading cards was to buy the album from Gladstone or your favorite comic book store. The Gladstone web site lists a complete set for $825 and very few left, my reserve is 15% lower so don't pass up this chance to pickup a complete new/unopened set below the Gladstone price . While they do have many of the individual albums still available as out-of-print back issues some of them have been sold out and the only way to get these sold out issues is by buying the complete set. Please note that I have included pictures of Album#1 and Album #51 only, the pictures of the cards are of a duplicate complete set and are included for illustrative purposes. This auction is for the complete set of albums and cards in new/unopened/mint condition . Walt Disney Comics & Stories in Color Comic Albums Large, magazine-size, heavy-stock, square-bound, full-color comic albums with new covers created from Carl Barks art. Each comes with a unique Trading Card . If you have any questions please ask them before bidding, I will be happy to answer any questions or provide larger pics upon request. I have listed this in the "By-It-Now -/- Submit Offer" format - so go for it; make me an offer I can't refuse! FYI - in case you haven't used this format lately it has been recently improved. You are no longer limited to just one offer, you can make up to three offers, and I have the option to reply with a counter-offer making it more like an auction ! Winning bidder should please wait until seller sends a eBay invoice stating the cost of postage and insurance, this set weighs over 22 lbs and will packing will be about 25 lbs. The postage will vary based upon destination zip code or country code for international bidders. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail for domestic bidders and USPS Global Priority Mail for international bidders. Payment via PayPal, Postal Money Order or Certified Bank Check, NO PERSONAL CHECKS!! Winning bidder should make payment within 5 days of auction close or the item will be subject to relisting.
