A) As an ebay seller for 10 years, I'd like to think I'm a trusted seller.My feedback suggests 99.2 people out of 100 are happy with the transaction.Unfortunately, there are some people on ebay who abuse their rights as a buyer, on demanding partial refunds, even when there is nothing wrong with the top. They threaten to leave negative feedback if I dont partially refund.I will not be blackmailed by feedback, if a buyer is unhappy with an item, they return via the ebay return request method, and I refund once item is returned. I get buyers from Malaysia/Indonesia threatening again with negative feedback if I dont refund and let them keep the top.Again, its wrong ebay allows it to happen, but again I wont be blackmailed.Even when I file non paying bidder alerts against non payers, they are allowed to leave negative feedback, because I file this complaint.Also, Certain buyers have second accounts on ebay, they buy items with no intention of paying, so they can leave negative feedback.These are some of the reasons I get negative feedback. Q) How long will it take my item to arrive? A) Depends on where you approx 3-5 working days, europe 7-14 working days, Rest Of World Up to 28 Working days. Latley I got 4 negative feedback fromn a German Buyer who opened a dispute 4 days after payment.Yes, 4 days, crazy.He ignored the message I sent with his tracking number, the paypal dispute was filed 4 days after he paid.When I forwarded him the tracking number from the original message I sent, he claimed it showed nothing on the site.I checked it, it stated Parcel Handed Over To German post for delivery. He continued to ignore the tracking info, claimed that he would not accept parcel, when I finally did get it back, it was minus two of the tops, had been opened and resealed, taking two of the items out, obviously with the help of the german postman.I hope this highlights some of the problems I've recently had to deal withand explains some of the unfair negative feedback. Q)My item is of low value £2.99, can you post normal air mail to save me some money on postage? A) I used to do this, but because I got a negative feedback from a buyer I did this for ( he claims he never got??) I will now post all items via secure signed for delivery.This means I can prove the parcel was posted and you can track online. Q)Have you shipped my item yet? A) Every item, once paid, i will message you via the ebay message system that I have got payment, when I will be posting, the tracking number and the website link you can track it from.Every single buyer gets this message once paid.Lately i've had people claim they never got it, I save all sent messages so I can prove the message was sent.It keeps you informed once you pay me. Q) I never got my message? A) All messages are saved so I will forward you a copy of the message I initially sent you.Please save us both time by reading the message, and then you can check your parcels status online. Q) I'm not happy with my item, I want a partial refund? A) If unhappy with item, you return it for refund.Under no circumstances will I offer a partial refund.This being because certain buyers from certain countries think its easy to threaten a seller with negative feedback if they dont get a partial refund.I wish ebay would act on this behaviour, as its getting quite common as some buyers see it as an easy way of getting refunded. <... read more
