I have for sale 8 original apothecary bottles in fantastic original condition. First of all a little history on these bottles, these came from an original pharmacy in a small northern California town called Ukiah. They were used in the original pharmacy then became window decorations in the later years. The natural rays of the sun are what caused the two bottles on the far right to change that brilliant purple, the sun also darkened the white color in the labels. The two purple bottle on the right are NOT color enhanced these bottles are uncleaned with the original patina!
The glass is seamed up the sides of these bottles. 2 bottles are 10.5" in height 4 bottles are 8.5" in height 2 bottles are 5.5" in height Some writing on the bottom of the bottles includes "patd march 6th 1894 F&S St Louis MO"---"T.C.W CO. U.S.A"---"WT CO. U.S.A"---"PATD march 22 1892" Bottle are in absolute gorgeous original condition and have nice original fitting plugs, beautiful non flaking recessed gold label under glass name plates. NO cracked label glass at all. The following are the only Flaws for bottles over a hundred years old! The 1st bottle on the right (Carvophyl) has a small chip in the top lip/rim The 4th bottle from the left has a chip on the top lip/rim and some small chips on the plug The 2nd bottle from the right has a barely noticeable crack up by the neck it does not connect to any edges, glass in still very strong and does not affect integrity at all. These fantastic bottles will complete any original apothecary collection nicely I especially like the two 5.5" bottles raised lettering and recessed label, I have not seen many of these! These are priced very fair and under the average value for bottle in this condition. They wont last long so get them fast!!!! Free shipping in the US.
