GLASS PLATE PHOTO NEGATIVE THE NEW ORLEANS TERMINAL CO. NEW ORLEANS, LA 1915 This glass plate negative is a view of the RR Terminal as it looked in 1915. This particular negative is not dated but the trip to New Orleans was in 1915 according to the record kept by Mr. Rushmeyer. The building is clearly identified. The negative is very clear. You can see horse and carriages as well as cars of the day with porters on the scene as well as street traffic. For sale is one in a collection of over 300 glass plate photo negatives from one photographer, Mr. Henry Ruschmeyer on NYC. The photos were taken between the years of 1910-1916. Most are scenes of NYC including parades, buildings, ships and street scenes. T are also some from New Orleans and Washington D.C. The wonderful thing about this collection is that Mr. Rushmeyer kept the photos in sleeves with the details and date of practically every photo. See pictures.
