This listing is for an Antique, US Glass, Panama Cruet with Original Stopper. Panama, pattern 15088, was introduced by US Glass circa 1904. The pattern is also known as Finecut Bar and Viking. It features vertical fine cut bars with large fans pointing toward the base. The stopper has six prisms with notched edges and a flower at the tip. It's a fantastic piece of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG). The cruet measures 5 3/8" high without the stopper, 6 3/4" high with, 3 1/4" in diameter at the base and weighs 11.6 oz. The piece is free of chips, cracks and fleabites with light roughness on the interior rim where the stopper inserts. There are no notable marks from use or storage. The foot shows slight wear. The designs are sharp. The glass is wonderfully clear and has a light glow under UV light. This cruet glass will make a great addition to an EAPG collection and be a wonderful addition to the curio.
