Offered for your consideration is an older expression of a Glenfarclas âe~105âe(tm) Cask Strength Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky Bottle with a striking gold and black label and the original beautiful natural wood presentation box. The bottle, label and presentation box are in near perfect condition. While t is no vintage statement on the bottle this U.S.A. export packaging has not been available from the Distillery for many years. I purchased this in 1994 from a small shop in San Anselmo , California and it has been in my collectorâe(tm)s case ever since. The distillery has changed its bottle and label several times since then, and this presentation is no longer available for sale anyw, so you will be hard pressed to find this bottle again! STARTING BID 99¢ with NO RESERVE. Glenfarclas was one of the very first distilleries to market their Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky. Since 1865 Glenfarclas has been owned and managed by just one family, the Grants of Glenfarclas. On the 8th of June 1865 John Grant acquired the tenancy for the Rechlerich Farm and as part of the transaction purchased the Glenfarclas Distillery for £511.19S.0d. To this day Glenfarclas is one of only a few distilleries in Scotland to remain family owned and managed. Now in the hands of the fifth and sixth generation of the family, the Grants remain committed to the vision of creating the best quality Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, in the traditional Speyside style. § Location: Glenfarclas Distillery, Speyside , Scotland § Bottle Capacity: 750ml The Distillery has changed its bottle style and labeling significantly in the 14 years I have had this bottle - this edition is no longer available and has now been out of production for several years and unavailable anyw - Pure Unobtainium!
