Offered for your consideration is a Glenfarclas 1989 Vintage Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky - Oloroso Sherry Cask First Fill, Bottle 1131 of 1500 . This is from the Distilleryâe(tm)s Limited Rare Bottling Series, a unique expression originally packaged for the German market that is no longer available for sale anyw, so you will be hard pressed to find this bottle again! STARTING BID 99¢ with NO RESERVE. Since 1865 Glenfarclas has been owned and managed by just one family, the Grants of Glenfarclas. On the 8th of June 1865 John Grant acquired the tenancy for the Rechlerich Farm and as part of the transaction purchased the Glenfarclas Distillery for £511.19S.0d. To this day Glenfarclas is one of only a few distilleries in Scotland to remain family owned and managed. Now in the hands of the fifth and sixth generation of the family, the Grants remain committed to the vision of creating the best quality Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, in the traditional Speyside style.§ Location: Glenfarclas Distillery, Speyside, Scotland § Bottled: 14 November 2003, Bottle 1131 of 1500. § Bottle Capacity: 700ml The Distillery has changed its bottle style and labeling, so this edition is no longer available and has now been out of production for several years and unavailable anyw - Pure Unobtainium!
